RIP
So I'm sure all of you have heard that John has transitioned into hard boots and bindings to make his carving down the mountain even more intense ( if possible!). Well 7 hard years on his favorite Arbor Element board ended last weekend....he took a carve just a little too hard and split his board down the middle!!! Yeah I didn't really think it would be possible either, but it's true. So what did we have to do? We had to run out to buy a new board, especially since we are heading to Tahoe in a week!! Poor John had to get the board he's been drooling over all season, the new Arbor A-frame. RIP John's well loved board...We will have plenty of pics of Tahoe soon so stay keep looking!!

John's Christmas Present
I decided to get John an electric remote control airplane for Xmas since he practically drools and swerves off the road everytime we drive past the flying field at a local park. Here are some pics of it's first flight! Unfortunately, it's first flight didn't last long, but John is determined to get it to do all the crazy acrobatic tricks!!
San Diego has SNOW!!!
Yup, I said it! We actually had snow about 50 miles east 3 weeks ago. John and I of course had to take advantage of it....so what did we do? We went snowshoeing with the puppies. It was absolutely beautiful and was a perfect bluebird day. The puppies loved it! I know all of you think we are crazy, but we miss the SNOW!!!

Our 1st Christmas Tree!!
Yay!! We have our first Christmas tree!! The crazy people we are, decided to go out the night we drove back 10 hours from Amarillo TX to get our tree. John did a great job with the lights and the tree absolutely glows. It was fun going through all of his ornaments (mine are still back in NY) and hearing all the old stories. Our fireplace is another of our favorite Christmas decorations. There is a stocking there for each of the puppy dogs and you can see John's cowboy stocking on the right. I had to get it for him!! Despite the weather, we are trying our best here in San Diego to make it feel like Christmas. This weekend we will put up our outdoors lights so I definitely will have some pictures of that up.
