More flying

John took some more pictures during one of his flights.  John is actually taking the pictures from the left seat while one of our friends Jonny was flying right seat.  They took pictures of the Coast Guard's newest cutter the Bertholf in San Diego Bay.

Summer Concert

Bobby managed to get free tickets off another Coastie to the Toby Keith Concert at a local outdoor ampitheater.  It was a really good concert and nice to be outdoors in the cool weather.

Our weekend getaway

This past weekend, we wanted to get out of  the city. So we headed up to the Laguna Mountains with Cami, Tony, and Bobby, Cami/Tony's son Connor, and of course our 3 puppy dogs + Cami and Tony's dog Baylor.  It was a zoo to say the least!  Poor Tony had to pull the baby's trailer over not to easy trails!  We all had a good time getting out of the city and of course the dogs had a great time running all over the place off-leash!  

Our first triathalon in a very long time

Two weeks ago, John and I along with a few of our friends got together and did a really small triathalon in Coronado.  It was really small so we didn't even have bike racks, we just lined up the bikes along the street.  We had a good time and then went out to a really good breakfast after!  

Take me out to the ball game!

Our friend, Bobby, moved down to San Diego from San Francisco about 3 weeks ago (he's in the Coast Guard too).  While his parents were visiting from North Carolina, we all went to a Padres game and unfortunately watched the Padres lose (again!)  We had a good time with the hot dogs and the peanuts though!
