Sushi Party!

Our friend Heather decided to have a Sushi party! We went to her house and she had everything to make sushi. I decided it was a good photo op!

Tahoe 2010

Time of our annual Lake Tahoe trip! This year, we rented a cabin in Tahoe and brought all the dogs! It was a ton of fun to have the dogs with us and boy did they love the snow! The first few days we hit the slopes at the resorts. We even rented splitboards (snowboards that split into skiis to skin up mountains) and traversed some of the crazy terrain in the pictures. We found some awesome powder in the trees after hiking.

Yes this is me in a treewell. Don't look mom. I tried to turn around the tree and slid down into the treewell. Oh well, if you a backcountry boarder, this is going to happen to you sometime.

In the middle of the week, we took a break from snowboarding and took the dogs skiing backcountry. Nell was a real trooper, being 6 months pregnant, and still putting up with us on skiis while she wore snowshoes. The dogs had so much fun. By the end of the hike, the dogs were so tired out they were just walking behind all of us in our tracks.

When we thought the resorts were going to get too busy, we took our rented splitboards to a backcountry area. It was beautiful skinning up the mountains and finding the areas that you couldn't see from the road.

I have to say the pups loved Tahoe! We took them with us and did back some backcountry snowboarding. They loved and snow and it was the cuddliest I've ever seen them once we got home.
