MS bike ride

As most of everyone knows, John and I (and John's dad) will be riding in the MS charity ride on the second week of October. I will be riding 100 miles and John and his dad will be riding 150 to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.  So needless to say,  John and I have been training a ton.  These pics are of me in my new gear and getting professionally fit for my new roadbike!  If anyone would like to donate, please visit www.biketofinishms.com and type in either John or my name and a donation option will appear.  Thanks!!

Johnny and Brianna's wedding

Over Labor Day weekend, we all celebrated Jonny and Brianna's wedding. Jonny is another pilot in CG and it was so nice to be able to share in his special day.  They had a nice little ceremony in a local church and then had the reception at Admiral Kidd, a banquet facility on the Navy base. It had a beautiful view of downtown.  We had a great time hanging out with all the other coasties and believe it or not...I got John out on the dance floor for the whole evening!  It was so much fun!

We took advantage of the open patio and practiced a little of our dancing.

We took pictures out on the patio overlooking downtown.  It was sooo beautiful!

They had the classic sword arch with all the coastie boys.  John is the in the middle on the left.  We are planning on doing this in our wedding too!

The photographer was sure to get a photo of all of the military boys with Jonny and Brianna.

One of the Coasties got the great idea for all the military guys to do a group robot dance!  Yeah definitely got a ton of pictures of this one!  And yes John is somewhere in the mix of the whites!

It's not what it looks...

Don't get too excited!  And no he's not ours!! We have been hanging out with our friends Tony and Cammie a lot, and of course their son Connor.  John got the honor of carrying him around at the dog beach.  Our dogs and our friends puppy love hanging out and it was a beautiful day.  Connor even tried to get in on throwing the ball for the dogs, but he pretty much just sucked the sand off of the chuck-it!
